1. Start by finding a flat surface where you can comfortably lie down, such as a yoga mat or a soft carpet. 2. Lie down on your back, ensuring your entire body is flat against the surface. Keep your arms at your sides and your legs extended straight out in front of you. 3. Bend your right knee and bring your right foot towards your buttocks. Keep your left leg extended straight. 4. Reach down with your right hand and grab your right foot. If you cannot reach your foot, you can use a towel or a resistance band to assist you. Simply loop it around your foot and hold onto the ends. 5. Gently pull your right foot towards your buttocks, keeping your knee bent. You should feel a stretch in your calf muscle. 6. Hold this stretch for about 20-30 seconds, then slowly release your foot and straighten your leg. 7. Repeat the same process with your left leg. 8. Do this exercise for 3-5 sets on each leg. Remember to breathe normally throughout the exercise and only stretch to the point of mild discomfort, not pain. If you feel any pain, stop the exercise immediately.
