To perform the roller side lat stretch, follow these steps: 1. Start by placing the roller on the floor. 2. Kneel down on your right knee and position the roller to your right side. 3. Extend your right arm and place it on the roller, palm facing down. Your arm should be straight and parallel to the floor. 4. Slowly lean your body to the right side, allowing your right arm to roll the roller away from your body. You should feel a stretch in your right lat muscle, which is located on the side of your back. 5. Hold this stretch for about 30 seconds, then slowly roll the roller back towards your body to return to the starting position. 6. Repeat this process on the left side by kneeling on your left knee and extending your left arm on the roller. 7. For best results, perform this stretch 2-3 times on each side. Remember to keep your back straight and your movements controlled throughout the exercise. If you feel any pain, stop the exercise immediately and consult with a fitness professional.
